Funding Opportunity: Interested in bringing a Recovery Community Center to your community? Submit a proposal by December 18th!

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services is currently soliciting applications to expand Recovery Community Centers in Iowa. Please visit IowaGrants.gov to learn more about the Request for Proposals. Notices of Intent to Award will be posted by January 18th, 2024!

Multiple Pathways Conference, Des Moines, IA

This conference, taking place from August 21st-23rd, gives space for the leaders in recovery innovation to share their ideas, their stories, and their perspectives on the various pathways to recovery. With a focus on long-term recovery, this conference hopes to share, educate, and empower. Join us at the Embassy Suites in Des Moines to learn more!

Multiple Pathways Conference, Punta Gorda, FL

Oregon Recovery Conference

This conference brings together the recovery community—people with lived experience, their friends, their family, and the workforce to help build a better recovery environment. This year, the conference is taking place in person in Portland, Oregon. Check out their website for more details!

Full Circle Recovery Events in March

Full Circle Des Moines is taking the time to create new community connections this March! Not only are they holding multiple recovery meetings every week, but drop in for crochet classes, book clubs, stretching sessions, new types of recovery meetings, and more. Be bRAVE for CRUSH of Iowa

CRUSH of Iowa is hosting a rave event with DJs who all have their own stories and experiences with recovery. Kids 12 and under are free, and all proceeds go towards CRUSH of Iowa's funding, so join them on September 23rd for Iowa's first-ever 100% sober/substance-free music event!

Annual Overdose Awareness Event 2023

On August 19th, join CRUSH of Iowa for their free overdose awareness event! Resources will include Naloxone training, speakers, and more!

Recovery Community Centers Awarded Funding

As of April of 2022, four different Recovery Community Centers (RCCs) have been awarded funding from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH). These RCCs include three centers run by Full Circle in Polk, Pottawattamie, and Woodbury counties, as well as one CRUSH of Iowa center in Linn county.
