RCC Training Modules
Interactive Lessons for Learning
Recovery Iowa training materials were developed in collaboration with the Public Science Collaborative at Iowa State, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and The Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) to support the advancement of recovery staff and volunteers in the state.
It can be overwhelming to get started on the work of a recovery community center (RCC). We have developed introductory training modules to help simplify the process of getting started! Some trainings are appropriate for volunteers or staff. Others are just for staff. Each training covers the essential concepts and tasks of an RCC related to that topic.
In the page outline below, you'll find the list of available training modules designed specifically for RCCs. Each training includes helpful information, interactive content, and valuable resources. Lower on this page, you will find links to each training, a brief description of each, and a direct link to the module. You can click on the title of the training in the outline to jump down to it on the page, or simply scroll down to see previews of each.
