Full Circle Recovery Receives Grant from Polk County!

The grant will support the Corrections Recovery Coaching Program (CRCP) for people with lived experience at the Polk County Jail by providing direct peer recovery support services, expanding knowledge of recovery services among incarcerated individuals, supporting reentry services to reduce re-arrests, and educating jail staff on recovery services in the community.

Registration is Open for CCAR Recovery Coach Academy!

Full Circle Recovery will be facilitating the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© in-person during Recovery Month. This will be held September 16-20 from 9am – 4pm at 1750 48th Street, Des Moines.

The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© is a 5-day intensive training academy focusing on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor, and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs.

Opioid Settlement Funds

Polk County is allowed to allocate funds for projects related to prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction and plans to use Opioid Settlement Funds to invest in high-need areas with the greatest impact on people with lived experience in a transparent, intentional, and sustainable manner.
